Is TCS giving really 6.5 LPA to freshers as I read in TOI and other media sources?

Yes it's true , TCS is giving a package of around 7.5 lpa to freshers under the TCS Digital category for which you have to be from a top tier college, clear the TCS Digital all India exam which consists of a decent level of aptitude and coding questions and then you get a call for interviews according to your performance.One can even get the position of an entry level data scientist which is quite good as most of the companies don't offer such positions to freshers.Another good thing is that it is not very difficult to get in as they have lots of vacancies PS- They took around 57 candidates from my college alone. Another category is TCS Ninja which is the standard 3.5 lpa (approx.) and can be termed as mass recruitment. An ancient Hindu festival, dedicated to Lord Surya and Chhathi Maiya (known to be the wife of Surya), Chhath Puja is unique to the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Eastern Uttar Pradesh and the country of Nepal.
